Types of Orthodontic Treatment We Offer

They are much less noticeable than traditional metal braces due to their clear nature. In addition, they can be removed for eating and cleaning, so you don’t have to worry about food getting stuck in your braces or difficult brushing and flossing. Orthodontic Retainers

Retainers are used to keep teeth in their new position after orthodontic treatment. Retainers need to be worn as directed by your orthodontist. There are several types of retainers both removable and fixed.

Early Orthodontic Treatment and Intervention

Early orthodontic treatment, also known as pediatric orthodontics, is treatment started before all permanent teeth have come in. Early treatment may be recommended when your child’s dentist or orthodontist identifies potential problems with the way the teeth and jaws are developing. The goal of early treatment is to intercept potential problems and guide the eruption of the permanent teeth into a more favorable position. Early treatment does not always mean that your child will need braces. In some cases, it may simply involve monitoring by your child’s orthodontist to ensure that no problems develop.
